Do you want to bring more truth, depth, and presence to your improv? This class is designed for improvisers who want to strengthen their stagecraft by applying the tools of the actor. Taught by award-winning actor and improviser Ron Pederson (Second City, MADtv, Dora Award), the workshop bridges acting and improv to help performers create more compelling, grounded work. Through character study, emotional and genre exploration, and text-based exercises, students will learn how to expand their range, listen deeply, and play scenes with authenticity and power. Goal of the workshop: To give improvisers the actor’s toolkit for creating dynamic, believable characters and scenes.
