The Grindstone Theatre Society is thrilled to take on the management of the Orange Hub Theatres in partnership with the City of Edmonton. Grindstone aims to provide affordable and accessible spaces for the non-profit sector, while also supporting opportunities that help connect people and build vibrant local communities through two performance spaces. Whether you are an individual, arts collective, community group, business, local or touring organization, Grindstone Theatre Society encourages booking applications from all interested parties.

GETTING TO THE ORANGE HUB + PARKING
The Orange Hub Theatres are located at 10045 156 St NW, Edmonton, Alberta, in the Orange Hub building. Ticket holders entering the Orange Hub through the North Parkade entrance can reach the theatre by following the hallway toward the City of Edmonton offices, then turning left toward the theatre lobby.
Directional signage will be placed throughout the hallways prior to show times to help guide guests to the theatre. Staff will also be stationed throughout the building to assist with wayfinding and answer any questions.
The theatre entrance on the west side of 155 Street has been set up to accommodate accessible parking, a fire lane, and 30-minute drop off zones for DATS and other facility users. The Orange Hub building is fully accessible with ramps & automatic doors, and the Performance Theatre can provide up to 1 full row of removable seating for patrons with limited mobility or those using wheelchairs.

Additional parking can be found on the corner of 155 Street and Stony Plain Road, as well as on surrounding public roadways on a first-come, first-served basis.
VENUE SPECIFICATIONS
PERFORMANCE THEATRE AMENITIES
The performance theatre is a 350 seat proscenium-arch theatre with an eight-foot apron in front of the main curtain. The theatre has a full complement of drapery available with plenty of room backstage and sound reinforcement equipment. A loading dock is available with easy backstage access for large equipment and scenery. Included in the rental of the space are two dressing rooms located 1 floor below the theatre, a green room, a lobby with an atrium, and a box office. Additional spaces may be rented to suit your event.
BLACKBOX THEATRE AMENITIES
The Black Box Theatre is equipped with a full LED colour-changing lighting grid, theatrical sound system and holds a full complement of drapery. Rental of the configurable venue includes the lobby area and greenroom, additional spaces may be rented to suit your event. The Black Box is located on the 1st floor east wing and seats 85 people. A loading dock and freight elevator are available for easy access for large equipment and scenery.
