EDUCATION ASSISTANT

Job Description:

Grindstone Theatre is seeking an Education Assistant for 10-15 hours per week. We are looking for someone with administration and education experience to help the Education Manager facilitate the programs at The Grindstone Theatre School. This job will include assisting the Education Manager & Assistant Manager in supervising the semester programs. It also involves communicating with parents, students and instructors, reviewing administrative documents and completing outreach at events. Applicants must be self-starters and able to self manage their time, workload and other responsibilities.

If you are passionate about theatre arts, have a background in Theatrical Education or social media and are able to manage and solve problems on the fly - we think you would be a great fit!

MARKETING ASSISTANT

Job Description:

​

Grindstone Theatre Society is seeking a Marketing Assistant to support the execution of marketing and promotional activities across all departments. This role works directly under the Marketing Manager and assists with content scheduling, photo & video production, coordination, distribution, outreach, and day-to-day marketing operations.

​

The Marketing Assistant is not responsible for developing overall marketing strategy but plays a key role in implementing plans, maintaining communication, and ensuring timely delivery of marketing materials for productions, festivals, and seasonal programming.

​

This position is especially focused on supporting festival planning, spring & summer programming and season marketing.

ASSOCIATE PRODUCER - Improv, corporates & festivals

Job Description:

​

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Associate Producer to join our team and play a crucial role in the planning, execution, and management of our creative programming which includes improv and variety productions, festival productions, corporate performances and theatre programming. The Associate Producer will work closely with the Artistic Director and other team members to oversee marketing, sales, sponsorship, contracts, and all general management responsibilities to ensure the success of each performance.

Ticket Scanner - THe Orange Hub

Job Description:

 

We are seeking personable, customer-focused individuals to provide front of house support in scanning tickets before performances. Reporting to the Front of House Supervisor, Ticket Scanners will be in charge of scanning tickets, assisting with lobby set up / clean up, and providing exceptional customer service to patrons.
