IMPROV 100
ANXIETY, STAGE UN/FRIGHT UN/FREEZE UN/FIGHT
Today's hustle culture can make the thought of failure terrifying. Sometimes we step back and close up, rather than face that fear. Improv gives you the opportunity to take a deep breath, look around, and jump in feet first with confidence. Anxiety, stage fright, and a fear of failure can hold us back from being our true and authentic selves. This class will help you build a sense of self-confidence, step outside of your comfort zone, and use some core improv techniques to find your awesome and unique voice.
This course is going to run at -your- pace. The process of failing, of being vulnerable, and being open in a classroom can be very scary. Our goal is to give you the space to play with your own sense of discomfort and learn how to thrive within it.

IMPROV 303:
Ensemble Coaching Course
This course is a Grindstone ensemble program designed to create the conditions for performers to flourish through repetition, focused individual performer feedback, and fostering a strong, supportive ensemble culture. Built for players who have completed improv fundamentals, the program emphasizes serious, consistent training with the same group to develop craft, cohesion, and a shared artistic language. Through structured reps, actionable notes, and guided mentorship, students refine advanced skills including listening, character, narrative, and ensemble awareness. The outcome is a cohesive ensemble capable of performing at a higher standard, with a clear pathway toward ongoing ensemble teams and sustained stage work.
The goal of this program is to offer a bridge between 'finished the levels' and 'show-ready ensemble.” It’s for people who want reps + coaching + refinement: stronger consistency, better scene craft, tighter group habits, and clearer performance readiness. It’s different from a regular class because it’s less about new concepts and more about practice, feedback, and integration, turning skills into reliable onstage craft, so there is a higher standard of shows(performance) ”
