Ready to step into the spotlight? Musical Theatre 201 builds on the foundational triple-threat skills introduced in Musical Theatre 101, with a focused emphasis on solo performance. Students will explore character, vocal technique, movement, and storytelling through solo, duet, and featured ensemble work. The course takes a deeper dive into the history and evolution of musical theatre, encouraging students to engage with a variety of styles, composers, and eras while honing their personal performance strengths. This class supports growing confidence, artistic independence, and polished solo presentation, and will culminate in a student showcase. Musical Theatre 201 is designed to be repeated as the material changes each term.
