COMEDY OPEN MIC
Every week Wednesday at 10PM The Grindstone hosts one of Edmonton's only Stand-Up Comedy Open Mics to give first timers a chance to take a huge risk, and pros a chance to work on new material. Each set is 5 minutes, with a light at 4 minutes.
This show is one of our major FREE providings so make sure to come out on Wednesdays to check out something that costs you nothing!

HIP HOP UNSCRIPTED
Freestyle hip-hop sessions weekly on The Grindstone bistro stage!

SWEAT Fridays is a weekly dance party in The Grindstone Theatre provided by the SWEAT collective of resident DJs plus a ton of special guests, playing hot and fresh electronic House music, and classic dance music throwbacks with a distinctively fun flavor (vocal heavy, funky, pop influenced dance music).
DANCE TAKEOVERS
Hit the dance floor and party into the night every Saturday from 10:30PM till late.

Immerse yourself in the vibrant rhythm of the city at our weekly dance parties, where the beats never stop and the energy is always electric! Join us weekly as the Grindstone dance floor is taken over with a curated selection of tunes brought to you by a rotation of talented local DJs groups.
SOUL SPEAK POETRY
Soul Speak is a word based event that focuses on self expression through words. Be that through song, poetry or story telling this is a space for you to come and share what it is that's in your soul!
