Being alone on stage can be nerve-wracking! In this class, you will explore the power of the monologue in the context of auditions and a full production. We will cover audition etiquette through role play and performance and you will have ample opportunity to perform your monologue in front of your classmates and at the end of term, share the piece in a public showcase. We will have fun digging into the text and finding every jewel that may be hidden there. Monologues are treasure hunts! 

It is encouraged to come to the first class with monologues and the plays they are from to choose from.

Please note: it is highly encouraged to bring the entire play to class, not just the monologue.
