DRAG QUEEN MAKEUP WORKSHOP
In this 2 hour interactive class, the stunning and talented Voula Callas will guide participants through the art of applying drag makeup to their faces. In this class, we will walk you through:
1. Block eyebrows
2. Contouring & Highlighting
3. Applying a fierce eye
4. Applying eyelashes
5. Applying luscious lips
This class is BYOM (Bring your own make-up). We will supply you with a list of products in advance of the class and they can be purchased at Theatre Garage for a discount.
If you already have similar supplies you are welcome to bring them as well.

DRAG KING MAKEUP WORKSHOP
Over this 1.5 hour course you’ll learn the basics drag king makeup, from the iconic king, Orpheus! (As seen on multiple events around Edmonton) He gives overviews of specialized products, in depth tutorials, and shares all the tricks of the trade to help demystify the artform. After taking the course you’ll feel equipped and empowered to start making creative looks of your own!
Orpheus will show all the products you need to paint a drag face and explain how to best apply them. They will discuss the principles behind contouring for a male illusion and they will share a guide they made of masculine contouring patterns, and explain how different shapes convey different things about your drag persona. Participants will follow a step by step how you paint a natural looking male illusion.

BEAUTY BASICS WORKSHOP
This class is a safe space for anyone to learn basic every day makeup. It is beginner friendly and everyone is welcome no matter where you are in your journey. I will be doing a live makeup demonstration on a model explaining step by step instructions and giving tips and tricks along the way. Questions and comments throughout the event are always encouraged. Make sure to bring something you can take lots of notes with.

Join Baila Libre for our Beginner Bachata workshop, just in time for the summer season. Our all queer team is excited to show you the foundations of Bachata, where you will learn essential techniques and patterns to feel confident Latin dancing!

INTRO TO POLE WORKSHOP
This class is perfect for those curious about pole dance and have no prior experience. Dive into the wonderful world of pole in a setting that is free from gendered language and binary movement expression. Pole is for every BODY, no prior fitness or dance experience required.

CHAIR DANCE BASICS WORKSHOP
Learn to dance with a steely dance partner, the chair! In this workshop we'll learn some tricks, poses and moves that can spice up your next drag, burlesque or pole performance! In this class students can expect to go through a warm up, do some light conditioning and drills before we dive into the fun stuff. Class can be done in heels or socks.

BEGINNER FLOORWORK WORKSHOP
Learn how to slither and slink on the floor like a champ! In this workshop we'll learn some basic floor work moves that can be incorporated into contemporary, burlesque, drag, or pole dance routines! We'll learn a variety of moves and the conditioning needed to best achieve them. Class can be done in heels or socks. Please check the class requirements to see what heels are best.

SEXY, SASSY & PROUD IN HEELS WORKSHOP
A commercial heels class for beginners! This class is done in high heels - ballroom shoes acceptable, stilettos, chunky shoes preferred. No pole shoes and no high platforms please. This class begins with a barefoot warm up, conditioning and strength building. In heels we learn the foundations: how to hold your body, isolations, weight change, bevels, melting pots, struts and more. Come explore a new side of yourself in heels! This class is taught by @heyjuliarose.

GOGO 101 FOR EVERYONE WORKSHOP
Have you dreamed of being a gogo dancer? This workshop is for you! Learn the ins and the outs of how to stand out in the crowd and sparkle on the podium - no dance experience required! In this workshop we'll cover the three main elements of gogo: time, space, and energy, and you'll learn how ANYTHING is a move.
